I come from a large, extremely close-knit and supportive family. We want to give the children embraced by our foundation all the attention and help that their families cannot give them. By doing so, we want to ensure that they become active, contributing members of society when they reach adulthood.

I consider one of the biggest problems in our country to be the situation of children born into extreme poverty, which is becoming increasingly common. Unfortunately, our society does not provide them with a way out. This scares me a lot. Sometimes it makes me angry. There are teachers, coaches, and well-wishers who are trying their best to teach, educate, and shape these children. I would like to help them. To work together with them to give these children a chance.

I met the members of the board of trustees of our foundation during the Smile Tour. They gave me the opportunity to delve deeper into the life of this disadvantaged region. I was captivated by the dedication of the people working here and felt that I too would like to do something to improve the situation. I believe in the goals of our foundation and I trust in its future.

Growing up in Szendrő and currently living in Budapest, I see the problems of the Borsod region, but also the opportunities it holds. In many cases, young people living in Szendrő and the region need to be introduced to their own values and those of their environment, and to be shown a perspective in their everyday lives in the short and medium term. To inspire them to make the most of themselves according to their situation. In my opinion, the motivation for knowledge of those living in poverty needs to be increased and their opportunities broadened.

I am grateful! I am grateful because I grew up in a loving, supportive family, where I had the opportunity to study until I was 23. Today I also know that learning and knowledge are one of the best ways to live a happy, prosperous, balanced life. Unfortunately, not everyone is given the opportunity to study, which is why I consider it important to support disadvantaged children with all our strength and do everything we can to give them a chance for a better life.
